What is the standard depth of lowering down the Gas Bags? Here is the rule.
Try to recommend to use this formula 20 x diameter of the blast hole.
For example,applying for gas bag in hole diameter 165mm,
Suggest to put the gas bag at minimum 3.3m – 3.5m from the collar to the top of the explosive column.
20 x 165mm = 3.3m (for dry and wet holes).
