Self-inflated Gasbag is the most practical and more efficient air decking solution till now. It can save substantial explosives for the open cut with big borehole diameters. However the saving of explosives for smaller diameters by applying for Gasbag will be limited. Sometimes the cost saving of reducing explosives just paying for the gasbag cost. So someone saying the small diameters of borehole don't worth to use gasbag. Is this truth or NOT?

However what the truth is many open cuts with small boreholes such as hole diameters 3", 3.5",4", 5" use the gasbag to improve fragmentation. As you know mostly of open cuts with smaller boreholes that from quarry and hard rocks. So they take a lot of cost on crushing the rocks after blasting. So they can reduce the crushing cost as well as increasing operation efficiency through applying for gasbag. That is why the smaller boreholes also use gasbag though it save explosives less.
